Insects
Insects are strange but Mrs. Freeman's class is learning about insects in science. We have 3 insects named Moe, Larry, and Curly. They don't just drink water; you have to put a slice of an apple and they can get a drink. We are poetry writers! How do you think we do it? These are some ways: We think of ideas to write poetry about - anything we want! We soar through our imagination! Doesn't that sound poetic? That's the kind of language we use in our poems. We have to reread it a ton of times to make sure it sounds poetic. We rewrite it and make sure our line breaks are all good. In case you don't know what line breaks are, it's when you break up your words into smaller lines. Then we publish. We are publishing a real book! The cover is so cool, and we are dedicating it to our principal. We loved publishing, and we can't wait to get our books back from the publisher. We hope you publish a poetry book just like us!

AuthorThis blog is maintained as a collaboration between all students and myself. Each week, one student has the classroom job of "Blogger". That student helps decide subjects for our posts, as well as writing one blog post about him/herself. Archives
